Lake Carezza beneath the snowy Dolomites

Everything you need to know before joining our coliving experiences

Everything you might want to know

From how the coliving works to what to expect during your stay. And if something’s missing, just reach out.

Most participants are remote workers, freelancers, entrepreneurs, or people who can work from anywhere. The age range is usually around 25–45, with most participants currently in their 30s or early 40s.

People come from different countries, professions and backgrounds, which is one of the things that makes every group interesting. The age range is not intended as a strict rule. What matters most is sharing a similar mindset and being open to living the experience as part of a community.

Absolutely. Most people actually join on their own.

That’s one of the nicest parts of the experience: you arrive not knowing everyone, and very quickly the group starts to feel familiar. Some people may already know each other from previous editions, but there are always new faces too.

Absolutely. Most participants are working during their stay. Some people have flexible schedules and organise their workday however they prefer, while others work regular office hours or follow different time zones.

Many participants also choose to take one or more days off during the week to enjoy the destination, go skiing, explore or simply relax.

For the Dolomites experience, we have two large common areas where participants can comfortably work, in addition to their own rooms. There is reliable Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation.

During the day, both common areas can be used for working. In the evening, one of them usually becomes more social, with dinners and time spent together, while the other can remain quieter for anyone who needs to work, take a call, read or simply have some time to themselves.

Not at all. Most people join because they love skiing or snowboarding, but there’s usually someone who simply wants to enjoy the mountains at a slower pace.

You can relax at the spa, enjoy snowy landscapes, spend time in mountain huts, explore Bolzano or simply make the most of winter in the Alps. And if you’re a beginner, Obereggen is a great place to start: there’s also a points-based ski pass, which can be much more convenient than buying a full-day pass.

The winter coliving runs from January 11 to February 12 and again from March 1 to March 28. You can usually join for one, two or more weeks, depending on availability.

If you have different dates in mind, feel free to get in touch. I always try to be flexible and, when possible, find a solution that works.

Your stay includes accommodation, a welcome aperitivo, yoga mats, help with planning your trip and my support throughout the experience. I also organise community activities regularly, so it’s not just a place to stay. Ski days are usually the most popular, but we also plan things like spa afternoons, walks, hikes or trips to Bolzano.

Ski passes, equipment rental, meals, paid activities and transportation to and from the destination or the ski areas are not included. Some activities can be very low-cost or free, while skiing is usually the biggest extra expense.

We often cook and have dinner together, and a lot of these moments happen quite spontaneously depending on the group and what people feel like doing.

There’s no shared meal plan or common food fund, so everyone is free to shop, cook and organise their meals however they prefer. There’s also a well-stocked supermarket nearby for everyday groceries and anything you might need.

Not at all. We regularly organise activities and suggest things to do, but joining is always optional.

Depending on your mood, your work schedule or simply how you feel that day, you might join the whole group, do your own thing or take some time to relax. There are plenty of opportunities to spend time together, but never any pressure to participate in everything.

Yes. A WhatsApp group will be created before the beginning of the coliving to share practical information, coordinate arrivals, organise activities and keep communication easy during the experience.

It’s also a nice way to start getting to know each other before everyone arrives.

The atmosphere is social, friendly and spontaneous, but it is not a retreat with a compulsory schedule. There are dinners, activities, days out, drinks and lots of opportunities to spend time together.

At the same time, everyone has their own work schedule, energy levels and need for personal space. The goal is to create a community where it feels natural to do things together, while everyone remains free to organise their time as they prefer.

After you apply, I’ll get in touch with you directly. We can clarify any questions, make sure the experience is a good fit and confirm availability for your preferred dates and accommodation.

Once your participation is confirmed, you’ll receive all the practical information you need before the experience. Closer to the start date, you’ll also be added to the WhatsApp group with the other participants.
